KSVY New Show/Host Submission Policy

Would You Like to Host a Program on KSVY 91.3 Sonoma?

Send us a short proposal describing your program idea and why you think it would appeal to the community. All programs must fill a one-hour block. If your program is accepted, you will be required to run the control board yourself, but don’t worry, we’ll teach you how. Send your proposal to ksvy@ksvy.org, and put New Program Proposal in the subject field.

KSVY 91.3 Sonoma is a nonprofit community radio station. As KSVY volunteers, program hosts are required to participate in a variety of ways. One of the ways we keep the lights on is through sponsorship. Think of three or four businesses or organizations that might want to sponsor your show. Our team will reach out to them.

Create a short—10 minutes or so – audio-CD sample of your program. DO NOT e-mail large audio files to the above address. Plan to drop off your CD at the KSVY office. We’d like to meet you in person. Our office is at 158 W. Napa St., Sonoma.

Management will then review your program idea and, if approved, offer you one of the available time slots. You will then review and sign the host agreement and be scheduled for board training.

It’s that simple.
