Listen in and enjoy entertaining anecdotes, trivia, and historic facts from a time when the music was REAL and the artists were...er...ALIVE!

About Joe: Smokin' Joe Herrschaft came to Sonoma Valley from New Jersey in 1978 and is currently a local songwriter, vocalist and harmonica player with the band The Smokin' Jaze. Herrschaft has played at the San Francisco Blues festival in 2004 with Francis Clay's Blues Crusade and has also performed original Herrschaft/Hukill compositions with Phil Smith and The Gentlemen of Jazz (featuring Duke Ellington master drummer Dave Black). In addition to music, Herrschaft is also and accomplished voice-over artist: He was the voice of "Cage" in the Sony Playstation 2 game Twisted Metal Black, among other varied accomplishments. In addition to his Monday night antics, you may catch his talents on KSVY's Sunday evening show, Radio Theater of the Wild West, and with his band, The Smokin' Jaze, who are in demand and ready for hire throughout the Bay Area.
