Heard it Through the Grapevines with Grant Raeside

A native of San Francisco and third generation Sonoma Valley wine lover, Grant Raeside is the Executive Director of the Sonoma Valley Vintners & Growers Alliance. His staff markets and promotes the valley and its 73 wineries, 165 growers and 100+ associate members.
Two years ago he benefited by the Sideways movie and Pinot Noir craze while working as the first Executive Director of the San Luis Obispo Vintners Alliance bringing national attention to this central coast region.
Over the last decade, Grant has raised over $10 million dollars for charities and non-profit organizations including the American Heart Association, Muscular Dystrophy Association and Junior Achievement. He produced and directed the Atlanta Jazz Festival, American Power Boat Association World Championships, The Georgia Lottery Launch with the Pointer Sisters and George Jones, Northern California American Heart Walks, Harley Davidson/MDA Bridge to a Cure, Taste on the Bay (San Francisco) and the Southeast's largest New Years' Eve Celebration, "Atlanta Peach Drop".
In Atlanta, he was the head of Marketing and Public Relations for the Atlanta Downtown Partnership and Manager of Sales and Marketing for Underground Atlanta during the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympic Games. During the Olympics, he conducted media tours for the national and international media while working in conjunction with the Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau and the City of Atlanta.
