When his mates were crunking to the Rolling Stones, Jeff was swing dancing to the Andrews Sisters. When the style called for ridiculously saggy clothing, Jeff turned up in a classically tailored suit. Immune to fad fashion, this man knows who he is and what he likes. Tune in to hear Jeff’s throwback musical selections on Jeff’s Joynt Monday through Friday from 3-4pm on KSVY 91.3 Sonoma. Between long sets of nostalgic music Jeff’s cast of eccentric sidekicks will keep you amused. Like the unfortunate gentleman with the teensy nitrous oxide problem who lives below Jeff’s Joint in the basement, or the endearingly odd woman visitor who’s voice sounds like gargled jello. Count on hearing from the tragically under-skilled helicopter pilot who reports on local road conditions, and other original characters. He’ll keep you smiling and will rock you gently with music you’ll recognize and love: Count Basie and Duke Ellington, Artie Shaw and Bennie Goodman, Louis Armstrong and Billie Holiday. Real music.
