At KSVY Sonoma 91.3 FM, we’re more than just a radio station—we’re a grassroots, independent, volunteer-driven hub for creativity, community, and connection. For over 20 years, we’ve been the heartbeat of Sonoma Valley, offering a diverse range of shows that reflect the vibrant and eclectic spirit of our listeners. Some of our hosts have been with us from the very beginning, sharing their unique voices with the community for years!

How to Get Started:

1. Proposal: Send us a working title and short proposal describing your program idea. Be sure to include why it’s a great fit for KSVY and how it will appeal to our diverse community. Include a bio about you too.

2. Interview: We’ll invite you for an interview to learn more about you, your goals for the show, and how you envision your program contributing to our community. We’ll also discuss any support you might need, and we’ll conduct a standard background check.

3. Approval Review: Your proposal will go through an approval review by our dedicated KSVY committee. We’re looking for creativity, community relevance, and alignment with our mission.

Upon Approval:

4. Time Slot Determination:If your proposal is approved, we’ll work with you to find the perfect time slot for your show, whether you want to go live or pre-record.

5. Training: We provide you with all the tools you need to succeed! Our staff will offer two 60-minute training sessions on how to run the control board and manage your show. Don’t worry—we’ve got your back every step of the way.

6. Go Live! It’s showtime! Whether you’re broadcasting live from our studio or pre-recording from home, your voice is ready to hit the airwaves and connect with the Sonoma Valley community.
