Celebrating Autoimmune Disease Awareness Month with Finish Line Moments
Celebrating Autoimmune Disease Awareness Month with Finish Line Moments
This March, KSVY Sonoma 91.3 FM is proud to highlight Autoimmune Disease Awareness Month through a special series on Finish Line Moments, hosted by the inspiring Gretchen Schoenstein. As a runner who has completed 130 half marathons despite living with multiple autoimmune diseases, Gretchen’s personal journey is a testament to the strength of the human spirit. Her show, Finish Line Moments, not only celebrates the accomplishments of local athletes and wellness experts but also raises awareness for causes that impact our community—like autoimmune diseases.
Throughout the month, we’re bringing you a powerful series of interviews that will move, inspire, and motivate you. These conversations go beyond just the science of autoimmune diseases—they dive deep into the personal stories of perseverance, resilience, and the fight for change. These individuals are not only overcoming obstacles in their own lives, but they are also advocating for better treatment, more research, and greater awareness for autoimmune diseases.

Our March Lineup:
- Audrey Fisher, founder of Operation Shooting Star and a long-time advocate living with Multiple Sclerosis, shares her deeply personal journey and discusses how her motto “Cure One To Cure All” is making an impact. Audrey's interview aired on Tuesday, March 5th, and is now available in our archive for on-demand listening.
