Last week, KSVY packed the airwaves with the kind of programming you just don’t get anywhere else—morning conversation after conversation, record after record, track after track. And guess what? We’re doing it all again this week.

Each weekday morning, The KSVY Morning Show wakes Sonoma with two hours of live, unfiltered radio, bringing together the voices that keep this community moving. Last week, we launched Women’s History Month with guests like Elayna Fernandez, also known as The Positive MOM, a Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award winner and United Nations speaker, alongside Barbara Boyle, a former Saatchi & Saatchi creative director turned author. Add to that Energy Alchemist Bobbie Jonas and goal-strategist Debra Eckerling, and the week was off to a powerhouse start.

The rest of the week, we got sharp political satire in song form from Noah Griffin’s “Song Parodies Today”, heard about the latest from Sonoma Splash, checked in with the Sonoma Valley Regional Library, previewed upcoming films with the Sebastiani Theatre, and unearthed historical discoveries with Breck Parkman from the Sonoma Developmental Center. Then, we took a deep dive into wine country trends with Jess Lander of the San Francisco Chronicle, celebrated women in broadcasting with Rachel Lee of the California Historical Radio Society, explored a new art exhibit at Jack London State Historic Park, and, of course, closed out the week with poetry from Valley Poet on the Beat Lin Marie DeVincent.

Deconstructing Media is a program by Ben Boyce with support from John Meyers, and Jon the Tech. It examines the mechanics of mainstream media, corporate influence, and evolving tech landscapes.

Wine Around with Hennessy, hosted by Leslie Hennessy, a 54-year wine industry veteran, explores enology, viticulture, and ampelography, offering a masterclass in California wine culture.

Over on Community Soul Supply, host Lisa Willett blends music, culture, and conversation as a guest co-host curates three songs across Soul, Funk, R&B, Hip-Hop, Gospel, Reggae, Neo-Soul, and Global music styles, sparking a dialogue that flows between the tracks.

Beyond these, KSVY talk radio continues to be where voices are heard. Ideas are explored— community leaders, food and culture insights with The Kathleen Hill Show, or sports talk breaking down the week’s biggest plays on Simon Says Sports.

Few people embody that better than Jeff Gilbert, a champion of the American Songbook, a prolific performer, and a master of classic radio entertainment. A Bing Crosby Croon-Alike contest winner, Jeff has spent decades performing, collecting, and preserving one of the most extensive private collections of American music treasures.
