End-of-Year Fundraising
End-of-Year Fundraising

KSVY 93.1 FM & Sonoma TV are excited about an upcoming milestone in the station’s history. Sonoma’s community radio went live on April 1, 2004, and since then, A LOT of radio has been broadcasted. It also means that Sonoma’s local, independent, community radio station will turn 20 years old in 2024. The organization looks forward to celebrating everything the many staff and volunteers have accomplished and envision another ten years of KSVY Sonoma 91.3 FM—The Voice of the Valley.
“Imagining the future of community media in Sonoma starts right now,” says Ronny Joe Grooms, KSVY’s Director of Programming & Communications. Whether listeners are donating for the first timeafter discovering our stations or one of our much-appreciated, long-time, consistent supporters, the community is making it all happen, and the skies are the limit.”
KSVY wants to roll into a third decade, producing solid programming representing Sonoma Valley and its neighbor’s creativity, culture, and values. KSVY is a volunteer- driven, nonprofit organization supporting the community by encouraging opportunities for the public to create local media.
This nonprofit kicked off its end-of-year fundraiser on Giving Tuesday, November 29, with the first of an engaging schedule of live performances, special guests, holiday programming, and all-aroundfun through the rest of the year. The #LIVEandLOCAL Fundraiser continues through December 31 with live performances in their Studio-B, broadcast, and streaming on KSVY and SonomaTV.
